3D trial on FTA DTV (australia)Has anyone tried to tune to the (metro area only) 3D trial on LCN 40?
The stream is actually in H.264 (MPEG-4), and whilst I accept the digitv may not decode it, I was looking to see if I could at least dump the .ts stream to disk.
(I don't have the H.264 license)
I've tried tuning with 3.7.05, but it isn't happy...

Have you tried that DigiTV-TS tool (can't remember the exact name). I used it during the London HDTV trials to stream to VLC which could decode H.264.

Yes I've recorded some segments of it.
But not with DigiTV. I have used TV Scheduler Pro as it happens
I see no reason why DigiTV wouldn't record the Transport Stream
the name is 3D Trial on 587.500 PID is 13107 VPID 101 APID 102 which is DD5.1 AC3
VideoRedo TVSuite happily edits the H.264 material but of course it is two video panes side by side in the overall video frame.
[Edit] Walaj, I gave it a try with DigiTv. Seemed able to tune the channel - SDT and NIT found and have the channel name etc.
But only have a black screen, and of course I don't have the Nebula H.264 licence as we haven't needed it in Oz. This is on Win7 64bit Ultimate so not sure if the stability of DigiTV in Win7 is at play.
I've not looked closely at a player just yet, but some comments on the DTV Forum suggest options.
