I've got the USB version running 3.5.21 software. If I watch TV for a few hours the picture will start to show jpeg artifacts and the sound will pop a lot - this increases over 10 minutes until it's totally unwatchable and inaudible.

It only affects the current multiplex. e.g. If I'm watching Ch4 and it starts to go then BBC would be unaffected. If I pull the USB plug out of the DigiTV unit for a minute then this "reset" will fix the problem for a short while. (A power-down for only 10 secs will only fix the problem for about 30 seconds.)

Why would it do this? It's as if it overheats - but doesn't feel more than warm to touch. It's connected via a mains powered USB hub because a direct connection to my PC didn't seem to provide enough power.

What version USB device?

Try a different hub?

Also try contacting Nebula directly in case it is a simple problem with the device (eg a problem with one of the crystals).

I can't find the hardware version. On the underside it says "DigiTV USB 2.0" but I think that means USB-2 compatible rather than DigiTV version 2.0.
