I wish I'd read this yesterday. Missed a very promising programme on railways by Pete Waterman on BBC Midlands. 
I wish Nebula had had time to squash this particular nasty bug before their demise. I'd even tried the trick suggested by Nebula Development of setting the PCs time from TV and this didn't work.
Although the program records twice due to this bug in DigiTV I'd run out of disc space (a usual problem!) and the second didn't record!
It has been a weekend of trials and tribulations with my PVR as the PC never fired up Saturday morning as the Akasa PSU had given up the ghost! I've replaced it temporarily with an older Akasa PSU with blue chav lights in it, hope this one lasts a bit longer!!
Still, I've done a rescan and done the split NIT registry patch and it's worked brilliantly.
