I have just purchased a third party TV tuner for my PC, after my DigiTV PCI card failed. I still want to us the DigiTV software but as the DigiTV card has failed the remote no longer works.

Is there another option eg. a third party USB remote that will work with DigiTV app?

You could try a Windows MCE OEM IR receiver (and either your Nebula remote or the MCE remote), plus a free piece of software called HIP which would obtain inputs from the IR receiver and then sends keystrokes and Windows messages to DigiTV to control it.
