DigiTV software with Azurewave USB tunerHi
I've been fiddling around with this Azurewave/Twinhan TU-200 USB tuner I got today. The software for it is poor to say the least, so I've been trying various other programs without any success.
It does work to a certain degree with DVBviewer, which shows it as a "REALTEK 2831U_BDA Filter". I thought DigiTV's BDA support might allow it to work but when it loads, it says "Could not find USB or PCI device or DigiTV Server".
Under Settings - Devices Attached, the upper box (Available Devices) lists it, but the lower box (Connected Devices) is empty. Is there something I can do to get things working or am I out of luck?
To be honest, the picture's so awful (shaky and freezes every few seconds) even with the supplied software that I don't expect much even if I can get it working, but it would be nice to have a play around with DigiTV. Up till now I've been using my PAL Iplayer+ STB via the S-Video in on my Leadtek VIVO (Nvidia) FX5600 going via DVI to my NTSC HDTV (I got it cheap alright!) and this has made me appreciate how simple (OK, it might not sound like it), effective and user friendly that system is.

Is the device selected in the top list? Have you restarted DigiTV since selecting it?
If it still doesn't work, then you'll need to ask Nebula about it. It could be that the BDA drivers for your device are not truly BDA compliant or have bugs in them.
Equally, it could be that Nebula have not yet integrated into DigiTV the bunch of fixes and improvements I gave them ages ago to improve the performance and compatibility of DigiTV with third party BDA devices. Not much we can do anymore to make that happen unfortunately.

Are you sure you have a stong/clean enough signal?
When you say 'shakey and freezes' is the picture breaking up into blocks?
Does any of your software give you signal strength or quality information?

@Bill
My signal's quite good and I never have any problems using the same (external communal) aerial and lead with my STB, apart from the odd slight breakup (rather annoying when it happens whilst I'm recording something though). On BBC1 at the moment, DVBviewer's showing 85%.
With the USB tuner, I did sometimes get the picture breaking up into blocks but mostly it was just freezing regularly (say every 5 seconds) for about 1 second. However, at the moment the picture's just very juddery, almost like frames are missing. EDIT: I've just uninstalled DScaler MPEG2 decoder, which is what DVBviewer was using and now it's using Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder and it's not juddery anymore. It was freezing every couple of seconds at first but it seems to not be doing that so much as before.
@Hyper
Yeah it's selected (ticked) in the top list and I've restarted. It may well be that the drivers are buggy. It's using Realtek drivers RTL2831UBDA.sys and RTL2831UUSB.sys. I had a look for newer drivers but even Realtek's website produces no results when I search for 2831.
I discovered there is an issue with a buggy Psisdecd.dll that can cause problems but installing the patch hasn't helped. [link]
My system currently has v6.5.2600.2640 of that dll and v6.5.2600.2180 of PsisRNDR.ax. Both BdaPlgin.ax and BdaSup.dll are v5.3.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158).
It's a shame that Nebula haven't implemented your fixes. You'd think they'd want to improve their software but I guess they're being protective of their market (IE they want people to buy their tuners).
