DVB Webscheduler Pro is now freeHi,
If anyone is looking for a reliable backend recording solution then have a look at this:-

The developer has just released it back into the public domain. I have been using this for a couple of years and it has never missed a beat.

I used DVB Webscheduler in the past and it's fantastic. Never missed a beat -- always reliably recorded anything I needed.
However, I have since moved onto using MediaPortal [link] and ForTheRecord [link] which are both free.
The combination of these two (MP v1.0 and 4TR 1.3.3.1) was surprisingly easy to install/configure and also works really well plus it gives me additional functionality to DVB Webscheduler.
Something for others to consider depending on their individual requirements.

can I use TV Scheduler Pro using the USB drivers or do I have to use the BDA ones (which need a BDA licence?)?

You don't need a BDA Licence to use the BDA drivers. You do need a licence to use DigiTV with BDA devices.
TV Scheduler Pro needs the BDA drivers for which you DON'T need a licence. You can even use Nebula Slave USB devices on their own without a Master present.

I've just installed Web Scheduler Pro, but I'm having problems getting started. I have three USB tuners, and all are working properly with the BDA drivers, according to the Device Manager (XP SP3).
But the Webscheduler config page says that there are "no devices available". Any clues/tips much appreciated.
The system has been working fine with WDM drivers/DigiTV software.

In Webscheduler click on System then Select Devices. Are your tuners in the "Devices available but not selected" list? If so then click on the green cross to select them.

No, the tuners do not appear in the "Devices available but not selected" list. It's blank.

I know you have already said that the tuners appear in Device Manager but just to make sure, could you please confirm that you have three devices called "Nebula DigiTV USB BDA" under "Sound, Video and Game Controllers," and that you have no Nebula devices under "USB Controllers."
If you do have your tuners as "Nebula DigiTV USB BDA" then I'm at a loss as to what to do next. My advice would be to post in the Webscheduler Forum, [link] where some very clever people will be able to help out.

Solved: for anyone else facing this problem, I came across this helpful advice from SciDoctor in the MediaPortal forums:
"Did you ensure to power down (unplug from any powered hub) the Nebula devices as this is needed to clear the firmware and allow the new BDA drivers to uplaod the correct firmware ."
That's all it needed. Onwards with testing now...
