Hi,

You may have already heard of this software but is a really nice open source (i.e. free) media centre for windows xp. I've been waiting for ages for the BDA drivers to be released to really test this software (Hopefully they will be out by July) and many argue that it is better than XP MCE.

Media Portal seems to complement DigiTV very well.

I have just installed the latest (1.3) version and seem to be able to use it in full screen mode as a desktop. I can drive it with the DigiTV remote to play MP3 and view photos and video, and DigiTV launches over the top of it for watching and recording TV.

I haven't tried using the BDA drivers as this set up seems stable, DigiTV works well for me and Media Portal fills the gaps.
