New Zealand DVBI have just arrived back in New Zealand from the UK and have noticed that there are currently 5 channels transmitting in the Auckland region on UHF channel 49, frequency 698 MHz using QAM64.
Just wondering if the Digi TV is going going to get a update for NZ

So DigiTV finds the channels, but they arent displaying? Or is it just not finding the channels?
If you get the bandwidth selection correct in the tuning settings page (are they using 7 or 8 MHz?), then it probably shouldnt matter what country DigiTV is set to - a single frequency scan of 698MHz should enable DigiTV to pick up the channels, and it should just work.
If that isnt working, then Nebula may require some stream data to have a look what is going on.

Have a google around to see what he authorities in NZ are doing. It may be a test or evaluation transmission. But if it a standard DVB transmission DigiTV should be able to decode it.

I'm in a similar situation with a DigiTV card in Auckland, but have not been able to get it to find anything. There's a general description of the spectrum allocation , but I haven't been able to find anything that lists the actual frequencies. The analogue channels are 8MHz, so it's quite likely that's what they're using.
