[not a bug]3.7.0.6 - Can't clear timersI did a forum search for this bug but can't seem to find the words "clear timers" and any related bugs so here goes:
Just bought my DigiTV, USB version, two days ago. experienced quite a few annoyances since, the commonly reported crash when pausing a recording and this being the main one:
Priority: High, immensely annoying
Server & Client Information
Hardware: Intel Dual Core E6600 3GHz, 2048Mb RAM, 300GB HDD
Graphic card and driver version: Sapphire Ati X1950XT
Operating system: XP Pro SP2
Nebula Hardware: USB DigiTV
Description: If I add a timer I can't clear it. I open the EPG, then select a specific timer and click "clear timer" then close the EPG. 5 seconds later I reopen the EPG and its still there. I click "clear all timers" and the same thing happens.
Steps to reproduce bug: I cannot clear my timers back to a clean state to reproduce the bug from scratch, but whenever I try and clear my timers the recordings stay where they are.
Expected behaviour: If i click clear timer, I expect it to get cleared
Work-around: not a clue...
Reported to Nebula: Just (21:32, Jan 22nd)

That is an odd one.
I have an E6600 CPU based machine
I cannot reproduce what you ae seeing. with 3.7.06
I can create timers from the EPG, and individually
Exit from there and later re-open the EPG in EPG=>Seven Day guide
I can clear timers, and clear all timers - it gives a warning about clearing all timers. I exit wait 10 seconds or more and when I re-open the EPG Seven day guide the timers are still gone.
Do you have virus and registry protection software active on your PC?

Have you set these recordings up through Series Link? They re-appear if you delete them

it is possible i had it set up through series link, but i the file i don't now how i got the program I was deleting deleting there in the first place.
I have not since been able to recreate this problem, and dont fancy setting up a series link that i dont want again so i'll put it down to random user error...
thanks for the help
