Problems with "FIVE" EPGI've started to have problems with FIVE's EPG DATA which I first noticed on Monday 23rd February. Looking around the web shows that others are also having problems. I capture my EPG data with DVBGuide (Conquest Consultants) which produces an XML file which is then loaded by DVB Webscheduler.
For example, "FIVE" EPG data captured today (26 Feb 2009) at 0800am from Sudbury MUX A ...
---- Contains yesterday's data from 6am (25 Feb)
---- There's a gap from 6am to 9am today (26th Feb)
---- There's a gap from 3pm on Friday 27th Feb to 2am on Monday 2nd March.
I receive my Freeview from Sudbury and I've checked the EPG data for "FIVE" on all six MUXs: Each MUX has different data problems with "FIVE". None of the MUXs have any data problems with any other channel. I've emailed FIVE but judging by the response others have had I don't hold out much hope for a sensible reply.
Anyone else having problems?

Part of an email from FIVE dated 27th Feb 2009...
| Code: | We can confirm that there was a fault with our EPG on the digital
terrestrial platform recently. However, our Engineering Team have
advised that the problem has now been resolved although it may take up
to 24 hours for the correct data to appear again. We would like to thank
you for taking the time to bring this issue to our attention.

It's strange that no one else on this forum noticed any problems. Perhaps I'm the only one who watches FIVE!

Can't say i watch that much stuff on Five. Could it be something to do with Freeview+ features being added? A couple of broadcasters have recently introduced this.

Actually I noticed this recently too (using DVBguide to feed EPG data into DVB Scheduler) but haven't got around to looking into it yet.
Have you tried contacting the DVBguide people about it? It sounds like that's where the problem may lie.

Missed this bug but I don't tend to pay too much attention to the EPG unless I'm setting up a recording. Use DigiGuide for sorting out what I'll be watching.
