Unwanted green stuff

Hi,
I am demuxing HDTV recordings with Project X, then using VDUBMPEG2 to de-interlace and resize and convert the .m2v video to DivX with DivX Pro 5.0.2 codec.

When the video is played with MediaPlayer Classic or PowerDVD6 the top left-hand corner shows green info. (Current frame, CPU load, Input size and Output size).

The info does not show with DivX Player 2 alpha or from a burnt disc played in a standalone DVD player.

How can I avoid it please?

sounds like whatever codec you are using to decode the video is putting them there, you'll need to go into the settings and change it.

THE ANSWER
Someone at another forum answered my plea. It was caused by the OSD display option turned on in FFDShow.

Here is my thanks and others may benefit from it

"Brilliant ocdcsv and thanks!

Yes it was in FFDShow.

Your help goes much further than you may have thought as I now know that FFDShow must be used by MediaPlayer-Classic and PowerDVD6.

I was lucky to have FFDShow as a standalone and as soon as I launched Configuration, there was that pesky OSD box checked.

I actually installed FFDShow in the process of trying to follow a Guide on this very website. Strangely there were good instructions on how to use ProjectX but when I got to the stage to use FFDShow there weren't and I couldn't find an Help File to tell how to use it.
Hence I was learning VirtualDub instead because there were tutorials by Darren Yates on its use in Australian PC User magazine May 05 (which seems unecessarily complicated I might add), NOV. 05 (great),Feb.06 (easy), and Aug. 06 (easy too).

You helped even more because I thought I was superimposing that green info. on my processed video and would need re-do it. Luckily, as a newbie, I had only converted my very first recording and hadn't deleted it in disgust.

I had looked for an OSD option in both players but couldn't find anything obvious. Perhaps it is there if you "drill down" deep enough.

(I have waffled on a bit here hoping that the info. may be of use to others.)

Anyway thanks again and I hope you have a great festive season."
